Frequently asked questions
The resource is printing too large.
For some reason, this is a very common issue with PDFs that are downloaded from TpT. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue on your own. If you’re unable, I will send you a corrected version as soon as I am able to reach my computer.
- Open the PDF.
- In the top left, click File > Print.
- Choose to print the PDF as a PDF.
- Choose a convenient location to save your new PDF.
- Open the new PDF.
- Print to the printer again. This time it should be normal!

Where is the answer key?
In almost every case, the answer key for a resource is in the same file as the rest of the resource. Scroll to the very bottom of the PDF or Slides, and you should find it there.
Why can’t I edit the Google Slides?
There are two main reasons why you may not be able to edit Google Slides.
- You are still in view only mode.
I cannot give everyone editor access to the original file. Instead, I give view only rights. Make a copy by clicking File > Make A Copy > Entire Presentation. Now you will have a copy of the resource which is exclusively yours to edit as you wish. - The slides are secured according to clip artist’s terms and conditions.
Unfortunately, this is a step required by clip artists to protect their work. Often, I still have an unsecured copy of the resource, which I can share with you upon request.
I would like an editable version of the resource I purchased.
I create all my resources in Keynote and then export them to PDF. I can easily share the original Keynote or export it to PowerPoint for Windows users. Just let me know which version you would prefer, and I’ll get that to you promptly!
Note: Purchased fonts that I use will not transfer to your device. When you open the resource, these fonts will default back to something standard, which may affect the overall look or spacing of the document. This shouldn’t create a huge issue, and you can easily change them to another font of your preference!
I would like to buy a bundle, but I already own some of the resources.
This is an issue that a lot of TPT sellers are pressing the website to resolve!
As of now, the only solution is to manually request a refund for duplicate resources. In your request, explain that you have purchased a bundle which includes those resources and would like a refund. I have never seen one of these get denied, and I will also be happy to submit the request on your behalf.
I noticed an error.
I sincerely appreciate your help pointing out typos, broken links, and scientific inaccuracies whenever you catch them! This helps me tremendously in keeping my resources up to date and ready for the next teacher to use. That being said, unless the error interferes with your ability to use the resource, it may not be treated as an urgent request.
All corrections will be made in a timely manner, depending on the level of urgency.
What do the Letters on the rubric represent?
At my school we use standards based grading and the letters represent:
E – Exemplary
P – Proficient
G – Progressing
BN – Beginning
Y – Yet to meet
I would like to translate the resource.
