Description
Not sure how to begin your new unit? Try the A to Z vocabulary challenge! This activity can be used in any classroom from K-12 and it’s not subject specific either!
All you need to do is give students a topic and set a timer for about 3 minutes.
While the timer runs, students will write down as many different vocabulary words as they can think of that are related to the topic.
When the timer finishes, call on students to share what they wrote down. (This is an excellent opportunity to practice names!)
